Recognized as an industry leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, REMC Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Broker-in-Charge W. Harold “Hal” Perry has been involved in the North Carolina real estate industry as an award-winning Sales and Marketing Manager, Developer, and thriving Investor for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Hal is a founding board member of North State Bank and continues to actively serve on the bank’s corporate board as Vice Chair.

Under Hal’s leadership, numerous residential and commercial properties have been successfully developed. Along with his wife, successful Real Estate Broker Gail Perry, Hal has developed and invested in numerous real estate projects, including Granite Falls, Granite Crest, Granite Ridge, The Grande at Granite Falls, and Granite Falls Apartments, all located in Rolesville,  North Carolina. In addition to these large residential developments,  Hal developed, built, and serves as the Managing Partner of Granite Falls Swim & Athletic Club. Granite Falls Swim & Athletic Club has become a hugely successful year-round amenity for the Rolesville-Wake Forest area, as well as Rolesville’s largest employer, with over 100 employees. Other notable neighborhoods developed by Hal are Lafayette and Neuse River Estates, both located in Raleigh.

Recent commercial projects in which Hal has been directly  involved are several Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hotels in Wake and Wilson Counties, and office buildings including Wakefield Corporate Center and North Ridge Office Center in Raleigh and Medical Office Complex in Cary.

Hal and Gail, along with select partners, co-founded RE/MAX UNITED in 2000, which grew to include five RE/MAX Franchises with over 350 of the top performing agents in the Triangle area.  After many years, Hal and Gail sold their ownership and management interest in RE/MAX UNITED to devote their full attention to Real Estate Marketing & Consulting,  with Hal focusing on the Development and Investment Division, while Gail continued to concentrate her efforts on Residential Real Estate Sales.

Hal’s personal commitment to the community has led to significant support of  Hospice of Wake County/Transitions Life Care, MeFine Foundation, and the SPCA of Wake County, as well as several other charitable organizations.

Hal and Gail are longtime residents of Raleigh, North Carolina. They have two adult children,  both of whom work with REMC, Inc., and three wonderful grandchildren.
